2007

1. 11 th November Remembrance day
   All Beaver Scouts welcome to take part in the service at Amersham Old Town Memorial Gdns.
   Uniform must be very smart especially the scarves. Coats cannot be worn so the Beavers will need something warm on under their uniform.
   Please assemble at the gate of the gardens at 10am. A Beaver Scout from each Colony will be chosen to jointly lay the wreath on the memorial It will help very much too if you could explain the solemnity of the occasion to them.

2. 17th November: General Knowledge Quiz 2007 Jubilee Scout Hall, Rectory Hill Saturday
   Licensed Bar opens 7:30pm This gets busy so book early. 8 to a Team. Contact brian.slade@navigantconsulting.co.uk for tickets
   Don't worry if you can't make up an 8 there will be others in the same situation - you can get together on the night.

3. 10th December Torchlight Procession.
   All Beaver Scouts welcome to take part in this exciting event. Meet at 7pm at the hall in uniform with warm coats etc
   The Cubs and Scouts will carry flaming torches and the Beavers Light sticks for safety purposes from the hall down through Rectory woods to St Mary's Church for carols. On return to the Hall there will be some light refreshments and the draw will takeplace re the drawer tickets that have been bought.
   Parents must accompany their Beaver Scout and all the family are welcome.

2008

1. 19th January: Leaders , Committee, Partners and Childrens Winter Get Together - Bring a plate for the table, your drinks and glasses. Bottle opener !

2. 9th April: Leaders and Committee evening meal

3. 15th March: Jumble Sale - Hall not available for Section Meetings on the Friday night prior

4. 13th - 15th June: Group Camp at Phasels Wood

5. 13th September: Leaders,Committee, partners and Childrens BBQ at the hall - Bring a plate for the table,your drinks and glasses. Bottle Opener !

6. 11th October: Jumble Sale - Hall not available for section meetings on the Friday night prior
